Stop Letting Your Illinois Criminal Record Hold You Back
Why do you need an attorney to expunge your Illinois Criminal Record.
More information coming soon
Beginning January 1, 2004, Illinois law was amended to permit people with qualifying arrests, felonies, misdemeanor supervisions and misdemeanor convictions to ask the court to either expunge or seal the records related to their cases. The law is designed to let people clear their records with or without an attorney. Any licensed attorney can represent you in court. However, you may wish to work with an attorney who specializes in expungement. Attorneys who specialize in expungement provide greater experience and can usually accomplish the task in less time, which should result in you paying less money.
